whenever i tell people i paint houses, i forget that it sounds like something else. for about 4 or so years now, i've been working with a couple or more realtors to paint home renderings that they gift to their clients when the sales are complete. it has been a great way to grow my watercolor skills, experiment with new techniques, and paint subject matter that i would otherwise not deal with. every house is different, and the challenge for me and usually pete (the realtor i've worked with the most) is finding the thing about the house that has made it a home for the people leaving it, or keying in on the things that have attracted the new owners to the place. every one of them is different. here are a few the pieces i've done recently...
