every year at disney animation for the past 20 or so years, there has been a caricature show. john musker started it back in the day, when his now wife was running the library here. it's grown and grown, and everyone is encouraged to create depictions of their friends at work and turn them in for the show. about two years ago, busy working on princess & the frog, i had an idea. bobbleheads. here's a grainy pic of my caricature entry that year: two woodcarved bobbleheads of ron clements and john musker puckering for their amphibian friends. i gifted them to the guys after the show...
then one day on animation rounds, john and i were walking the halls and he said, 'did i tell you that the arl wants to put the bobbleheads in the show that they're putting together for the museum of art in new orleans?' wow! i'm still saying wow... here's a couple pics of them under glass in the crescent city:
john told me the other day they may send the exhibit to japan...

This is Roz by the way, rather than Abi being exceptionally gifted for a 2 year old!
